WAC, Online request to get a Web Access Code

The online request for a Web Access Code can be made with this form, which contains all the information required by the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA).

To make an online request using the form, make sure that all the fields (except for the “Corporation’s Web Access Code (WAC) field) are completed, and click the Get WAC button.

Note that any online request for a WAC must include the date of the last notice of assessment (NOA) or notice of reassessment (NOR) issued by the CRA to the corporation and at least one of following amounts from that notice: the Part I tax, the total federal tax or the net balance (refund or balance owing). All the information entered must match that indicated in the last notice issued. Otherwise, the online request for the WAC will be rejected.

When the online request is accepted by the CRA, the WAC in entered in the “Corporation’s Web Access Code (WAC) field.”

Tip: If you have to request a WAC online for several T2 returns, you can perform the operation only once for all returns during the Internet transmission.
