Access CCH iFirm Tracking
CCH iFirm Tracking allows you to stay on track during tax season. Your workload is displayed in real time, wherever you are, which allows you to manage your returns accordingly. Easily identify overloaded or under-assigned resources, and detect and prevent bottlenecks by reassigning returns using the drag-and-drop function.

Log in to your CCH iFirm site.

Click the Tracking module in the left-hand menu.

Log into CCH iFirm Tracking
You can log into CCH iFirm Tracking from the Taxprep Dashboard (2022) and CCH iFirm Tracking (2023 and subsequent years) menu > Sign in or from the CCH iFirm > Login menu. To do so, you will need to use the login details of your CCH iFirm site.
Sign into CCH iFirm Tracking (formerly known as Taxprep Dashboard)
To sign into CCH iFirm Tracking, you need a user account. When the CCH iFirm Tracking administrator creates your account, you will receive an e-mail allowing you to set your password.
You will have to provide your e-mail address and password when launching Personal Taxprep to allow the program to exchange data with CCH iFirm Tracking. Note that you can choose to disregard the login window when launching the application and sign in later using the Taxprep Dashboard menu. After having provided an e-mail address and a password, an authentication code will be sent to you by e-mail. An authentication code will be sent to you in accordance with the program from which you are connecting to CCH iFirm Tracking. Therefore, you will have to enter the appropriate code to be able to sign into CCH iFirm Tracking.
When you are signing into CCH iFirm Tracking from a device that you think you will be using regularly (that is not public nor shared) and you want to avoid having to enter an authentication code each time you sign in, check the box Trust this device for future use. If you define your device as a trusted device, no authentication code will be required for a period of 120 days. CCH iFirm Tracking uses cookies to recognize the device. Therefore, if you are using another browser on the trusted device to sign in or if cookies are deleted in that period, a new authentication code will be required to sign in.
Reset the password of your user account
You can reset the password of your user account by using the Forgot your password? link that is displayed on the sign-in page.

Click the Forgot your password? link in the Taxprep Dashboard box displayed in Personal Taxprep or the Taxprep Dashboard sign-in page. A reset password e-mail will be sent to your e-mail address.

Access the dashboards
Since 2022, dashboards can only be accessed from your CCH iFirm site. See the Access CCH iFirm Tracking section for more details.
