CCH iFirm Engagement Licenses

There are two licenses your firm can purchase to work in CCH iFirm Engagement, which are Attest (formerly called Pro, and Engagement before that) and Knowledge Coach. When creating your engagements these licenses are referred to as engagement modules.

Attest (Pro) engagements allow you to work with the trial balance and reports as well as advanced workpaper management functionality and allows you to add links to engagement information within your Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel workpapers. This type of engagement is typically used for more complex engagements such as reviews and audits which require workpaper management functionality such as lock workpaper and lock engagement.

Knowledge Coach engagements allow you to work with audit practice aids to assist with planning and risk assessment. This type of engagement is typically used for more complex engagements such as reviews or audits and can be used on its own or with an Attest (Pro) engagement.

Analytics allow you to utilize the Data Analytics capabilities in an Engagement. It requires the use of an Attest (Pro) module license. Check Attest (Pro) and Analytics together for an engagement to use this capability, with or without Knowledge Coach.
