Using the Recycle Bin
Workpapers in the recycle bin can be restored or permanently deleted from the engagement.
You cannot open, download, view properties for, or upload a new version of a workpaper when it is in the recycle bin. While a file remains in the recycle bin, any workpaper references that you have added for the file are still visible, but will not be usable. Restoring the file to the Engagement View page will make the reference links functional again.
The recycle bin displays the name of the person who deleted a workpaper, as well as the date the file was deleted. The name that displays is the name entered in the Report Name field in the staff member's profile in CCH iFirm user settings.
Warning: Once deleted from the recycle bin, a workpaper cannot be restored.
