Print a notice of assessment to PDF

Printing a notice of assessment can be done directly from the CCH iFirm Taxprep module, allowing you to create a digital document that is easily accessible in PDF format. This option is available for the T1 – Personal and T2 – Corporate products only.

  1. Choose the T1 – Personal or T2 – Corporate product, then select the return.

  2. Click the PDF button at the top right corner of the screen, followed by Print Notice of Assessment to PDF.

  3. Select each family member for which you wish to obtain a copy of the notice of assessment.

  4. Select the Send a copy to the Documents module check box if you wish to upload the documents in the default tax folder of the contact(s).

Note: You can choose additional printing options by clicking More options. Select or clear the relevant check boxes from the following options and click Save:

  • Merge PDF files into a single file

  • Use SIN as a password (T1 – Personal only)

  • Use Business Number as a password (if that option is displayed) (T2 – Corporate only)

  1. Click Print. The printing process will begin in a new window of the web browser.

  2. You can also access your PDF file directly from your notifications by clicking the icon, then by selecting the element and clicking Download.

Note: You can print multiple notices of assessment at once from the return manager. Select the relevant returns, click the PDF button, followed by Print Notice of Assessment to PDF.
