Getting Started with CCH iFirm Validate

CCH iFirm Validate is a confirmation request tool that your auditors can use to request independent verifications of client data from a client's financial institutions.

CCH iFirm Validate:

• Allows you to create requests to access your client's information for multiple financial institutions at one time.
• Provides a method for your client to review and approve your requests.
• Facilitates the delivery of the requested information to your firm from the financial institution.

CCH iFirm Validate employs block-chain technology, which provides an immutable record with an audit trail, thus reducing opportunities for fraud. The actual data transfer to your firm is encrypted and can be completed with greater efficiency than traditional paper processes. Once you have submitted your request, the workflow for completing the request is automated, from requesting the client's permission to actually fulfilling the request.

Note: Upon first login to the application, the firm must register with the blockchain on the Administration page.
