Using a Report Page
When a request has been completed and a report is ready for your review, you can access the completed report by doing the following:
- Click the project name on the Project dashboard page.
- Click the report name for the completed request on the project's main page.
Tip: To go to the Project Dashboard page from any other page in the Validate application, click Validate under the Firm Applications menu on the left side of the CCH iFirm home page.
The layout of the report might vary, depending on the type of report you are viewing. If you requested a report that includes multiple accounts, they display in alphabetical or numerical order by account name, and then account number.
In addition to the requested information, the report page provides the following information:
- The name of the person requesting the report
- The date the request was made
- The client approver for the request
- The date that approval was provided
Navigating the List of Reports
You can do the following on report pages:
- Expand or collapse report sections. By default, the report sections are collapsed when you open the report page. Click Expand All at the top of the page to open all sections of the report at one time, or click the arrow next to a report section header to open just that section.
- Filter the report. Select an option in the filter box above the report to control which areas of the report display. You can select multiple filter criteria at the same time. Click the X next to a particular filter or for the whole filter box to clear the filters and view all items on the report.
- View and navigate to other reports for the same project. Click Report List in the top right. The report list pane expands to display a list of all the completed reports in this project. Click a report to open it.
- Print reports. You can print the entire report, just the sections for particular account types, or an individual section.
