Edit and Resend a Request
You can edit and resend any request that has been sent to a client regardless of the state that the request is in. By editing a request, you can change the:

Financial institution
-
Client approver
-
Report type
-
Associated project
-
Draft status
Requirements to Edit and Resend
To edit and resend a request, there must first be a request that has already been submitted or saved as a draft. This can be determined by selecting any project and viewing the Data Request Dashboard.
Any request that is listed can be resent.
Steps to Edit and Resend
Note: Editing and resending requests WILL use an additional request.
To edit and resend now, do the following:

Click the project name on the Project dashboard page.

On the Project dashboard page, select the request(s) that you would like to edit and then click Resend.

Select which project you would like to send the new request in. If the project is the same, leave it as is.

Make sure Edit and Resend Now is selected, then click Save & Continue.

Make any desired changes to the request and click Send Requests.
Note: You can also resend a single request by selecting the Actions menu and clicking Resend.
Note: You may also add new requests on this screen if needed.
Steps to Edit and Save as Draft
Note: Saving as a draft WILL use an additional request.

Click the project name on the Project dashboard page.

On the Project dashboard page, select the request(s) that you would like to edit and then click Resend.

Select which project you would like to send the new request in. If the project is the same, leave it as is.

Select Save to Draft, then select a draft from the drop-down menu.

To open the selected draft, you must click the check box labeled Open Draft. If not leave it unchecked. Click Save & Continue.

If Open Draft was selected, the draft will open, and edits can be made to the requests and saved or sent.

If Open Draft was not selected, the draft will be saved to the desired project, and you will be brought back to the original project’s Project dashboard page.

Note: You can also resend a single request by selecting the Actions menu and clicking Resend.
Note: There must already be an existing draft within a project to save as draft. If a draft does not exist and you would like to create one, you must first select the project you wish to save it in, select Edit and Resend Now, and click Save & Continue. On the screen that allows you to edit the request, click Save to create a draft. You will be prompted to enter a Draft Request Name and then click Save.
