Adjusted Cost Base Summary

In the ACB SUM form, the average adjusted cost base of the last transaction in an asset category is displayed.

If no transaction is made for a category, this category will not be displayed in the ACB SUM form. When creating a new file, this form will be blank.

In the ACB form, data items are grouped by asset categories, i.e.:

  • Shares
  • Real estate
  • Bonds
  • Other properties
  • Personal-use property
  • Listed personal property

The filter allows you to display and group data based on the “Held with” field for the Shares and Bonds asset categories.

Two buttons are available for the Shares and Bonds asset categories. The first one allows you to sort transactions from the most recent to the oldest. The second one allows you to sort the list of these assets in alphabetical order based on the “Name of corporation” field for the Shares asset category and based on the “Name of issuer” field for the Bonds asset category.
