Variance Reason report

When staff member exceed the budgeted hours for a job by a predetermined threshold, they are forced to enter a reason for their variance, which is automatically e-mailed to the partner. This report shows partners all the reasons users have submitted for exceeding their budgeted hours for a job. For example, if you wanted to see how many users gave the reason for going over their budgeted hours as, "The client papers were messy," you could search by "messy" or "client papers". Partners can also use this report to prepare staff appraisals, identify areas that require staff training, and determine whether insufficient hours are being allocated to jobs. You can filter the report by user and time period. If you have set up custom groups and filters for your firm, you can also filter the report by job-related firm groups, for example, by job location and job division.
