Learn about workflow management
Automating your firm's workflow allows you to easily allocate resources, set priorities and manage the progression of the jobs. Resource allocation is key to the workflow process. Here is a collection of useful links to help you along this process.
Resource allocation
Allocating resources lets you know who is working on what and when. It also allows users to be clear about what jobs are important, due soon and require their attention. If you know in advance who will do what job for a client, then we highly recommend that you set up automatic allocations. The more you automate your jobs the less time you spend setting up jobs.

Job ordering
Job ordering allows you to narrow down the list of jobs allocated to users, to show only those that you want them to be working on now. We highly recommend you assign a workflow manager to do this. However, we recognize this is not always viable, so you can give users access to ordering their own jobs. Otherwise users can consult their jobs by priority in their dashboard, using the My ordered jobs widget, or in the My ordered jobstab of the Jobs page. The job with the highest priority shows at the top. To better manage your ordered jobs we recommend that you make use of the job status and the currently responsible status in a job.

- View jobs by tab
- Update the job status
- Update who is currently responsible for a job
